‘THE LONDON TAYLOR EXPERIENCE’

JUNE 11, 2013 (LOS ANGELES, CA) – London Taylor, a popular recording artist, writer, and producer is pleased to announce the launch of his newly redesigned website, http://www.londontaylormusic.com in conjunction with Sinematic Music. The London Taylor Experience is devoted to providing entertainment fans with a long form cinematic music experience. This was a passion project for Taylor with an all-star web team led by Two Lions Media.

http://www.londontaylormusic.com has an innovative design that reflects Taylor’s mission to provide fans with creative freedom through film, music and entertainment. After receiving wide praise for his music video, “No Panties” feat. Nicole Murphy, he has a distinct vision to produce music videos in the form of an actual film. He shows seventeen “mini-series” that combine in to one cinematic music video. Sinematic Music visually connects the listener to Taylor’s music through film based on authentic real-life experiences.  All of the videos are a direct creation of Taylor’s inspired vision that leads as a trend in the industry and will create an innovative movement among other artists. For most people, music is an essential part of everyday life.  Music can deliver vital information, just as the news does.  Since people are adapted to a rich universe of offline sound, it’s important that the digital user experiences should mirror this same familiarity.  The site will feature live streaming performances, tour announcements, as well as the ability to unite with his strong connections in fashion through an e-commerce component.

In conjunction to the website, Taylor plans to launch an app that will allow fans to connect with him and the London Taylor Experience on the go from their mobile device.  The app will keep fans up to date through push notifications delivered to their mobile devices in order for them to stay connected to him and his every day life with new music, live streams, as well as fashion updates.

“The whole process has been interesting and I hope that this new site will give my fans a new perspective of my artistic process musically. I’m a strong believer in working hard on the things you love, and seeing where it lands you. I feel that at this point, if you’re not doing movie music, you might as well not be doing music.  This is the next level of innovation where music is going.” –London Taylor

Technology and Fashion: New Trend in Style

Standard

It is inevitable. Fashion and Technology are joining together and the hottest new accessories are technology related. Like any other art, the long-term trends in fashion are often driven by advancements in technology.  New materials merge with the old and new needs will drive innovation while fashion slowly evolves.  Companies have been using new technologies to create amazing clothing and accessories.  It’s only time that we can Tweet from the sleeves of our dresses, or check-in on Foursquare from the heels of our shoes.

Silicon Valley is the mecca of most tech companies and has long been known for semiconductors and social networks, not stilettos and socialites as those in New York. But in a place where the most highly prized style is to appear to ignore style altogether and the hottest accessory is the newest iPhone, growing groups of people are challenging standards by innovatively embracing fashion.  It’s the perfect marriage of East meets West.

Some people just notice the clothes, but for many, it’s the accessories that make the difference. Expression is arguably the most important function of clothing today, and arguably one of the key reasons we wear clothes at all, historically speaking.  It seems natural that technology will eventually influence the ways in which we express ourselves. Top designers know have caught on to this too; that’s why so many have lucrative accessory collections and breaking new barriers in technology.

A bag is a key item in self-expression. A bag is the introduction and conclusion to your fashion story. A bag is the primary and final thing we see when glancing at a person. A bag is the single most crucial and significant element in conveying who you are to the fashion community and that is why…it is vital to own a chic and stylish laptop bag.  I love the Hermes-Birkin inspired bag that includes it’s very own charger! A phone or tablet case is a favorite accessory of mine because it’s so simple and inexpensive to change. Not only do most of us drop our phone far too often, a cell phone case is ingenious and one of the most accessible methods of self-expression. Companies have made it affordable and fun for us to represent our favorite colors, teams, designers and even custom photos on our cell phones. While on the spendy side, I can’t get enough of this iPad case from Celine in Paris! Bergdorf Goodman

Headphones make up one of the hottest properties in the current fashion market. Since first appearing to perplexed looks from fellow commuters, bulky fashion headphones have gone from a quirky sight to a fashion must-have. It appears head hi-fi is here to stay.  They compliment any fashion accessory or consumer electronic as we have come to realize that headphones are now becoming the new accessory to convergence products, rather than the other way around.  The vFree Bluetooth on-ear headphone by Velodyne Acoustics is one of the best fashion headphones that’s out there.  The sound is incredible, and they are very lightweight.  They also work with your phone and other Bluetooth devices so you can enjoy your music and conversations on the go without the obnoxious cables in the way.  They also come in white, black, and silver. www.velodyne.com

Headphone Skins are an innovative fashion accessory that add a bit of bling to the simplest technology and our love of music. The interchangeable headphone covers from Velodyne are striking, affordable and takes fashion technology to the next level. Headphone covers are the earrings of the future and create an emotional bond between fashion and sound. Velodyne will be releasing a series of skins to cover their vFree headphones at prices similar to cellphone cases.  Some will be textured to give you a more high-fashion look.  Rumor has it that you will be able to custom make your own as well during Fashion Week and with select retailers! www.velodyne.com

Musical Analysis of New Album #Fiend by The Mad Violinist & Symphony Crack Orchestra

Standard

#RealMusic #PureSound

Legendary jazz trumpeter Miles Davis believed that musical creativity was an act of discovery. Simply put, he thought that the music already existed, and it was his role as an artist to explore, to look for a sound that lay outside traditional boundaries. Davis knew that spontaneous creativity was the business of jazz. With less than one percent of the notes on the written page, Davis made up the rest on the fly—no going back to correct mistakes or rethink a passage.  His passion and skill joined to form something new, something that worked, and something that was both technically sound and infused with improvisation. Over the four decades of his career, Davis continued to create new frontiers in music and, in the process, became a legend.

The music created today is much different than in the days of Miles Davis.  The popularity has transitioned towards more synthesized electronic music, apparent today in iTunes chart toppers.  Musical synthesis has changed a lot since the release of Switched On Bach, and it’s getting to the point that recordings of virtual instruments, and even virtual orchestras, are becoming difficult to distinguish the difference from the “real” thing.

Of course, this brings the question – how close are virtual orchestras coming to traditional orchestras?

You be the judge.  I encourage you to download and listen to the new album Fiend by The Mad Violinist and Symphony Crack Orchestra.  This is a group that still focuses strongly on original musical talent, incorporating theory into their art form.  While watching the iTunes charts yesterday, their album shot up to Top 10 Electronic albums worldwide in under 24 hours, that has to be some kind of record.

While they bring in electronic sounds and techniques, they never lose site of their inspiration from “real” music icons. One of the problems facing the one-person orchestra is knowing how to play many different instruments, luckily The Mad Violinist is proficient in over 30 instruments…being able to assist in creating the masterpieces they do.  Symphony Crack Orchestra brings the same creativity and passion into their music as musicians like Miles Davis once did, spending hours upon end in the studio working hard to create something that no one has every heard or experiences before. They will continue to create new frontiers in music, and will no doubt become legends of their craft.
